因此了解竹材特性,是學習竹編的首要功課。阿笠竹工的竹材處理課,涵蓋了技術面、文化素養與設計思維,將給予學員較全面性的學習這門獨特且歷史悠久的文化技藝。

學習項目:竹林選竹、伐竹,學習竹材刀工處理、竹編技法,學員將學習用自己削剖的竹篾製作2~3件作品(視剖竹進度)
The essence of bamboo weaving lies in strip-making, as different techniques require precise variations in strip dimensions, species, and maturity. Mastering these splitting skills takes years of practice.
