Guiˋ san+ haˋ Bamboo Traces-A solo exhibition by Khóo Jit Tek

阿笠竹工在新竹的工作室位於圭山下，這裡的農林與自然都成為日竹創作的靈感與材料。延續先前作品的脈絡，日竹將帶來呈現峨眉鄉山林風土的工藝創作。敬請期待。

Based in Gui-san-ha, Hsinchu, Ali Bamboo draws inspiration and raw materials from the local agricultural, forestry, and natural surroundings. Continuing the vision of past works, the studio presents new bamboo craft creations that reflect the unique landscape and natural heritage of Emei Township. Stay tuned.

Mastering Bamboo Craft: Winter Tuesday Class in Taipei

上課地點：第一堂在新竹峨眉鄉阿笠竹工工作室上課，之後上課都在台北教室: 「夢想城鄉」-台北市廣州街161號3樓 。

9月下旬開放報名

學習項目：竹林選竹、伐竹，學習竹材刀工處理、竹編技法，學員將學習用自己削剖的竹篾製作２～３件作品（視剖竹進度）

Key Learning Topics

1. Bamboo selection and harvesting in the forest.

2. Blade and knife processing techniques.

3. Bamboo weaving methods.

4. Hands-on creation: Students will make 2 to 3 pieces using bamboo strips they processed themselves (depending on individual preparation progress)

For our year-end Open Studio, Ali Bamboo has invited local indigo dye artist Lien Wei-Ti and glass craftsperson Chen Chien-Chih to showcase their works together.
