A contemporary bamboo craft studio based in Taiwan
Alibamboo Crafts is a contemporary bamboo craft studio based in Emei Township, Hsinchu, Taiwan. We create contemporary bamboo artworks, bamboo basketry, and functional objects using locally sourced bamboo and natural materials.
Rooted in Taiwan’s bamboo heritage, our work explores the possibilities of bamboo through craftsmanship, contemporary art, and sustainable design. We transform bamboo from a traditional material into meaningful works that connect culture, nature, and everyday life.
We relocated our studio to Emei and restored an old house as a space for creation and exhibitions. Through our works and collaborations, we share the beauty and versatility of Taiwan bamboo with audiences around the world.
